The Twin Cities’ newest conservative talk show host has an idea for managing the thousands of protesters coming to the Republican National Convention in St. Paul in September: machine guns.
Chris Baker, formerly a talk radio host in Houston, took over the morning spot on KTLK in early March. On Friday, he took issue with the debate among Minneapolis law enforcement personnel as to whether police should limit the use of Tasers and pepper spray on protesters in Minneapolis (link to audio file). Baker’s suggestion is violent suppression of what he calls “stinky protesters” that are part of “an industry funded by billionaires and communist organizations (and) they are well-coordinated and incredibly dangerous.”
Baker continued: “So we’ve been talking about police protection during the upcoming convention when all those stinky protesters are coming. There seems to be a big debate over whether or not police officers will be able to wear helmets, carry shields, use pepper spray and Tasers on this crowd. You know, I’ll tell you what works on a crowd like this — a machine gun, that always works very well.”
Baker’s co-host, “Jordan,” agreed: “Mow ‘em down, baby!” he added.

Fired from his last 2 radio gigs in Houston and Tulsa, Reich-wing nutbag Chris Baker has landed in the Twin Cities at KTLK, and Friday he joined drug-addled gasbag Rush Limbaugh in advocating violence against liberals and other Democrats when he suggested the police use machine guns against protesters headed for the RNC National Convention in St. Paul.
And it didn’t end there, he suggested “A good ole boy network is what you need and hand out some ax handles.”
The FBI is considering an investigation, but with the BushCo DOJ, don’t hold your breath.
Earlier in the week fellow KTLK ‘host’ Jason Lewis made another enlightened comment with a violent sub-text. To a caller talking about Stillwater blogger, activist, and military veteran Karl Bremer, Lewis said:
Jason Lewis: I don’t lead a jihad against individuals unless they happen to be in the public arena. Of course, you could make the argument this guy’s now in the public arena. But if citizens are truly fed up with a small minority of socialist kooks in Stillwater, led by this Karl Bremer character who’s got a bizarre obsession with Michele Bachmann, I can’t be held accountable for what citizens might come up with.

Bremer’s personal information was also posted on a conservative web site where posters were told they should contact him using the information and tell him what they thought. The info included his email address, his HOME address and phone number.
So, the GOP are now leading jihad against the ‘loyal opposition.’ If they can’t win elections, they seem to think they can win in the streets. Apparently they don’t realize that many liberals are also gun owners. These calls for violence in the streets DO NOT fall on deaf ears. There are plenty of ‘crazies’ out there just looking for marching orders. These people are insane…
As the summer heats up, all it takes is one idiot in the streets reacting to something another idiot says on reich-wing talk radio!!!
KTLK Minneapolis radio station that employs both these freaks. If you’d like to drop KTLK’s management a note:
